I took my first dance class when I was in 3rd grade. In 8th grade I started dancing at Class Act Dance Studio. I had so many amazing teachers and took everything from jazz, ballet, lyrical and my favorite Hip Hop! When I was 16 I had Katie as my ballet teacher and a few years later as my hip hop teacher. She is an amazing, strong, inspiring woman. After the studio shut down she opened her own, Signature Dance Studio and I will do anything I can to support her and her studio even if that means photograph the dancers in the studio and in the annual spring dance recital even when I am dancing in it myself. Luckily, I had my family armed with cameras there to help me! Katie has some pretty talented teachers and students and I am proud to be a part of it all. That being said, here are some of the photos I took for the dance studio's spring recital.
